I had 3 ladies today and the wind hampered our efforts. 8 trout, but no reds today. |

Today it was James Baker and his family. We caught a lot of small trout and put 7 nice ones in the box by 10:00. He made it a point to thank me for letting his son fish. He had been out with other guides before who left his son in tears because they were so hard on him. If you can't let a kid enjoy himself on the water, you shouldn't be a guide. This is ALL about the kids, we should all remember that. |

Today I had Craig and Trever Judge. They were some really great guys to fish with and we had a good box of trout and reds. 12 Trout and 4 reds |

My son Connor started school today and the first thing he wanted to do afterwards was go fishing. We headed over to the doughnut and quickly limited out on reds. He did GREAT! |

Today I had Beverly Morrell and her family again. They brought along Tyler and Mike also. Tyler got off to a quick start with a nice oversized red. We found a lot of small trout, but there were some keepers in there as well. Overall. it was a nice mixed box. |

8-18-07 Girls Daily Double |

It was another double today and it started out going the ladies way early. Rachel Ulrich was putting the hurt on the fish while her dad Tom and boyfriend Colby were struggling to get a bite. We quickly put 17 trout in the box and she cuaght most of them. We then made a small move and Tom started in on the redfish. He landed 3 nice ones and Rachel got the biggest one (of course). We ended this trip with 17 trout and 4 reds. My next trip was with Shelia. She had come down with her friend Katherine and a few others. They were just out for the girls weekend and they wanted to go fishing (how cool is that?). I went straight back to where I was earlier and we began putting big redfish in the box. It took 3 short drifts to get 9 CHONGO reds and 3 nice trout. I wish every trip was this easy. I think the girls just had good karma today. They were very skilled on the water and not too hard on the eyes either! It was a great day. |
